Yes, I am a self employed nanny. You many not have heard of a self employed nanny before because it is unusual to find a self employed nanny because nannies rarely fit the criteria. The easiest option for both parties is to pay by card, as it means you do not have to worry about getting cash out to pay me at the end of the night!

Card
When you receive your invoice by email there is a “pay now” button. Click on it and follow the instructions to make a payment. Payments must be complete within 48 hours of receiving an invoice.

Cash
Payments by cash must be paid at the end of a booking.

Cheque
Please make out all cheques to Katie Bishop, payments by cheque must be paid at the end of a booking.

I am currently in the process of updating my OFSTED registration. Once complete it will be possible to pay with childcare vouchers.

For daytime nannying and babysitting
I cover Kent and East Sussex including, Tunbridge Wells, Wadhurst, Ticehurst, Mayfield, Hastings, Bexhill, Battle etc

For Proxy Parenting or temporary “live in” roles
I cover the whole of the the UK

For Travel Nannying
I hold a UK passport and I can travel anywhere in the world, please book well in advance to allow time for Visas etc to be processed.

Yes. I have full business car insurance and nanny insurance which means I am able to drive your child. I have a clean driving licence and a car with ISO fix.

Yes. I offer travel nannying anywhere in the world. Please contact me for prices and more information.

Yes. You are able to book me to stay over night.

Yes. This is type of care is called proxy parenting and is a service I offer.

Unfortunately I’m not able to provide regular care as my schedule changes every week, however I do offer ad hoc and occasional childcare, to see my availability and book this please sign up to my newsletter
I specialise in Travel Nannying and Proxy Parenting (What is Proxy Parenting?) which is my priority and therefore can be booked as far in advance as you would like. To do this simply email me with the dates you’re interested in booking and I will get back to you as soon as possible. I then offer my other services such as daytime nannying and evening babysitting for in between these bookings.
